ATTITUDE BEATITUDE

According to Wikipedia, the term beatitude comes from the Latin adjective beatus which means happy, fortunate, or blissful. Far more than "happiness" or "joy", the word "blessed" in these teachings has been defined as an "exclamation of the inner joy and peace that comes with being right with God."

Our attitude makes a world of difference in how we connect with people and our environment and how we live our lives. A lot depends on it, including our happiness.

Take a look at this message that I found:

"To love God, you must have an attitude of love."

"An attitude of receptivity and warmth and readiness to receive God's grace.

An attitude of giving and generosity and not-holding-back to let God's grace flow through you and on into the world.

You know you love God when you feel love flowing through you."

K.I.A.

For all you car enthusiasts out there, sorry to disappoint you but I'm not gonna review automobiles here.

K.I.A. stands for Know It All. Know-It-Alls are sometimes annoying! They think they know everything! Well, okay, I am guilty of being a K.I.A. once in a while, so I know how it feels...

But, I read this great message about knowledge and answers. So, check it out:

"You don’t need to know all the answers."

"When you don't know what to do, stop, breathe and reflect before making a decision. Allowing some time to pass may give you a different perspective on your situation."

THANKS!!!

I had a great day today, just hanging out with my family, eating, laughing, shopping and strolling with them. So, I just wanted to give thanks for all the blessings we have received. :-)

SWEETIES

Okay, Sweets Police, arrest me too! For I am guilty of eating a LOT of sweet things lately... I know at the start of my blog, I vowed never to eat sugary foods but, darn it, I just can't help it. That's why I indulge in my cravings or else I'm gonna go bonkers. I just have to remind myself not to gorge on desserts. A little bit is okay, but too much of something is bad for my tummy.

Here are some pics of what I ate:

Cinnamon Bun

- Yum squared! :-) I don't like the smell of cinnamon, but I do love its taste. I sprinkle it in my porridge and sometimes even in my drink. But, it's best eaten as a cinnamon bun. They say cinnamon also helps regulate blood sugar. So, yay! :-)

 BAKLAVA

- O.M.G.! So delish! My new fave! According to Wikipedia, "Baklava is a rich, sweet pastry made of layers of phyllo pastry filled with chopped nuts and sweetened with honey or syrup." This particular baklava came in different flavors. I forgot which one is which but, they all taste sooo good!

I also ate a SUGAR FREE CARROT CAKE but I wasn't able to take a pic of it anymore. It was good too! It didn't taste bland at all, unlike some sugar-free treats. And, it was sweetened with stevia, which is better than the other artificial sweeteners out there.

Okay, that's it for now.

Time to lay off on the sweets...

Tootles! :-)

PRETTY SKY

I love looking at the sky, whether it's bright and sunny or dark and filled with stars. I also love the interplay of colors as the sun rises or sets. Words cannot express how beautiful it truly is. And, because a picture is worth a thousand words, I'll just post a pic of it:

xoxo!

END IT

I know I should have posted this sooner, but as they say... "Better Late Than Never," right?

So yeah, this is a call to End Human Trafficking and Slavery, Cruelty and Violence!

END IT NOW!!!

EVERYTHING PASSES

"Remember this simple truth whenever you are suffering, - that the suffering too shall pass, - and it will become easier to bear."

- AMEN! You just gotta hang in there and never give up.

XOXO!
