Okay, Sweets Police, arrest me too! For I am guilty of eating a LOT of sweet things lately... I know at the start of my blog, I vowed never to eat sugary foods but, darn it, I just can't help it. That's why I indulge in my cravings or else I'm gonna go bonkers. I just have to remind myself not to gorge on desserts. A little bit is okay, but too much of something is bad for my tummy.
Here are some pics of what I ate:
Cinnamon Bun
- Yum squared! :-) I don't like the smell of cinnamon, but I do love its taste. I sprinkle it in my porridge and sometimes even in my drink. But, it's best eaten as a cinnamon bun. They say cinnamon also helps regulate blood sugar. So, yay! :-)
BAKLAVA
- O.M.G.! So delish! My new fave! According to Wikipedia, "Baklava is a rich, sweet pastry made of layers of phyllo pastry filled with chopped nuts and sweetened with honey or syrup." This particular baklava came in different flavors. I forgot which one is which but, they all taste sooo good!
I also ate a SUGAR FREE CARROT CAKE but I wasn't able to take a pic of it anymore. It was good too! It didn't taste bland at all, unlike some sugar-free treats. And, it was sweetened with stevia, which is better than the other artificial sweeteners out there.
Okay, that's it for now.
Time to lay off on the sweets...
