 A bed, but not sleep;

Books, but not brains;

Food, but not appetite;

Finery, but not beauty; 

A house, but not a home; 

Medicine, but not health; 

Luxuries, but not culture; 

Amusement, but not happiness;

Companions, but not friends; 

Flattery, but not respect; 

Yes, there are many things money can buy, 

But, you should rather seek,

The things that money cannot buy. 

So true! Sometimes we get so caught up in money making activities that we forget what matters most. Money is not the end all and be all. If we trust in God, He will provide for everything we need and more. After all, He is the King.
