"When we are quiet, we can hear God's messages to us. Sometimes
these messages may be in the form of subtle intuition. Sometimes it may
feel like an inner knowing. Sometimes we may hear a 'still, small
voice.'
If it feels right in your heart, trust that it is God speaking
to you."
I woke up to the news that the royal baby has been named. I tried to guess it and I got it right after a few tries. It's George Alexander Louis. What an appropriately regal name for a baby prince. I guess William and Kate chose traditional names for their baby after all. But, I'm glad it's not as long as William's name, which is William Arthur Philip Louis. It's actually quite surprising that they announced the name already because before, it took them a while to do so.
Anyway, cheers to the Royal Family. God bless! :-)
When events happen which seem catastrophic, it is not only possible, but
very important for you to allow yourself to come to a place of
calmness.
Panicking serves no one - not yourself, not the people who are
suffering, and not the planet. Allow yourself to trust that there is a
larger purpose and that it may not be necessary for you to know that
purpose at this time. Allow yourself to have faith that ultimately, all
will be well.
"God has given you so many gifts to sow love and to give hope, to
shine light and to spread joy. Abundant gifts. Use them. Give to
yourself and give to others. There is an endless spring where they come
from."
I just wanted to say Congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, William and Kate for having a baby boy! So happy for them :-) But, so sad for Prince Harry because he's been bumped off the line for England's throne. From third in line, he became fourth because of this new baby boy whose name is yet to be announced. I wonder what his name will be... I bet it will be as regal as his parents' name. I, along with the whole world will wait with bated breath for the revelation of this boy's name.
Oh my, I've missed this blog! I haven't been able to access it recently because I've been busy and because I've been having problems with my internet connection.
Anyhoo, anyhow, I just wanted to share my nail art with you guys. My sister did it. It's so pretty that I can't help but look at my nails every now and then :-)
"Until you learn how to say 'no', you will never be able to fully say 'yes'."
"Unless you know how to set boundaries to form your safe space,
you will always be concerned that saying 'yes' might put you in danger.
So you will always pull back a little from saying 'yes' with your whole
heart. Paradoxically, knowing how to say 'no' to form boundaries gives
much more power to your 'yes'."
"Yes, of course, you want to control so everything happens in just
the way you want it. But at the end of the day, we control nothing, -
it's all in God's hands, - has always been, and will always be.
So, do
what you can, and then let go, and let God handle the rest."
It'sKõ-Yõ or Korean Yogurt from BonChon. It's yummy. Not too sour, just right. The flavors mix well together and the bottom part tastes amazing! Love it! :-) Next time, I'll try the Blueberry Torte flavor :-)
As you guys know, I love my afternoon tea so I was inspired to put together an outfit that I would love to wear if ever I went out for afternoon tea coz usually I have it at home.
This is what I came up with:
DRESS: Valentino Polka-dot silk-blend dress
SHOES: Nude Flats
BAG: Chanel Vintage Black Jersey Quilted Chanel 2.55 Bag
I know it seems a bit too much for afternoon tea, but sometimes you just gotta pull out all the stops and dress to the nines once in a while, right? ;-)
"Infinite possibilities are born of faith." "Do you think that's air you breathe; that's earth you walk on? All matter is God's creation. And the source is faith.
When you have so much faith that you become one of faith, infinite possibilities open to you."
One of my fave snacks is bibingka, which is a rice cake that is made of rice flour, milk, eggs, sugar and water. I have been seeing Antonio's bibingka for a while now, but I haven't tasted it yet. Good thing my bro and my dad decided to buy some one day and bring it home to us. Thanks guys! :-)
Here are some pics of it:
Instead of coffee, of course I had my bibingka with tea. It's just okay, nothing spectacular. Honestly, some bibingkas I've eaten in the past taste so much better. But, hey, I'm still very thankful for this treat. At least, now I know what it tastes like. Curiosity satisfied. Mission accomplished. ;-)
I just happened to chance upon, who else but, Greyson Chance? Well, not him exactly, but his music. I love it! Especially "Sunshine and City Lights," and "Waiting Outside the Lines."
He's only 13 years old! And, he is a great pianist too! Actually, when I heard about him before, I thought, "Oh great, another Justin Bieber wannabe." But, I was pleasantly surprised because his music is really good, better than the Biebs. (Well, I'm not exactly a fan of the Biebs - sorry Beliebers out there)
I just wanted to let you guys know. Check out his music and I'm sure you'll love it. He's actually having a concert soon. I hope I can watch it. We'll see...
This cake is a "melange of chocolate moist cake, mocha and vanilla chiffon in a swathe
of mocha butter frosting with a generous layer of chocolate ganache."
"Beginnings are only possible where there are endings."
"Clear acknowledged endings are as necessary to intelligible life,
as pauses between notes to intelligible music. Although endings
sometimes feel like the end of you, take them for what they really are, -
the end of a stage in your life."
"When people tell you nice things, stop shrugging them off as if they are nothing.
The sincere compliments you receive are your jewels, - collect them in your heart, - they highlight the beauty of your being and empower you during challenging times.
Never say 'oh, it's nothing' or shrug your shoulders when you hear a sincere compliment. Pause, breathe it in, and really feel its meaning."
I love satchels! They're so cute and preppy. And, they can be worn as a cross-body bag or over the shoulders. Uber versatile! :-) Plus, I love the structured look.
I have a satchel already and I love it, but I'm also eyeing this one:
It's from Kate Spade. It's the Santa Rosalia Scout Crossbody Flame Satchel. It's sooo cute! I love the scalloped edges and the bright orange color. Just looking at it brightens my day. :-)
"It's a sin to miss an opportunity to bless and to praise another being.
When you see another doing something wonderful, or simply being breathtaking, come out of your shell and let them know how inspiring they are. Yes, even if it's a total stranger.
Do not miss these opportunities to let God's grace flow through you."
Nope, that's not a typo, I really misspelled Gretel because this is about tea yet again. I hope you guys aren't tired of my posts about tea coz I really love it.
Here's what I had earlier:
I had Hansel Mocha Sandwich with Lipton Clear & Green Tea
What's great about Lipton Clear & Green Tea is that it has a message in its tea bags, just like Yogi tea.
"Freedom is much misunderstood as freedom from something, as outward facing. Such freedom is illusory. Real freedom is freedom from mental sins of desire, hate, prejudice."
"Divine messages come to you all the time." "They come through dreams, through snatches of songs, through things that you read which resonate with you, through synchronistic conversations, and most of all, in the quiet recesses of your heart.
You may not have encounters with burning bushes, but that doesn’t mean God isn’t talking to you!"
With all the food I have been eating, I really need to work out. But, exercising is easier said than done. However, I can no longer put it off. And so, I am very happy and proud to tell you guys that I DID it! I finally started working out regularly! Yay! :-) I guess once you start, you can't stop. At least, I hope I won't.
I start off with yoga to warm up and then use a stepper and some dumbbells to work out both my legs and my arms. I plan on using a jump rope or adding some jumping jacks to my routine soon.
I hope to wake up earlier than usual so I can exercise earlier to. It's so much better that way.
So, wish me luck! And, I hope you guys will start working out too. :-)
While me and my mom were shopping for groceries, I saw this:
I've always loved sansrival, even the cheap one from Burger Machine tastes good, but I haven't tried this one fromCafe Ysabel, so naturally we had to get it.
What's intriguing is its unique ube flavor. My mom loves ube, so we really had to try and taste it for ourselves.
It doesn't disappoint! It tastes sooo good! Better than regular sansrival. I can't wait to try the other flavors such as mocha and chocolate. :-)
